A huge thank you to PC Harper, who visited our school to deliver an informative and engaging workshop on bullying, with a particular focus on online bullying and digital safety.

Throughout the morning, the children were fully engaged and participated enthusiastically in discussions and activities. PC Harper helped pupils develop a deeper understanding of the potential dangers associated with online behaviour and the importance of treating others with kindness and respect, both in person and online.

The workshop explored the legal implications of online pressure, inappropriate posts and messages, and the consequences that can arise from sharing harmful or offensive content on social media and other digital platforms. Pupils also learned about the role of the police in investigating incidents of online bullying and safeguarding young people, ensuring that concerns are managed appropriately and that support is available when needed.

The session provided valuable guidance on how to stay safe online, make responsible choices, and seek help if they ever feel worried or uncomfortable about something they have experienced or witnessed online.

We are extremely grateful to PC Harper for taking the time to share this important message and for helping our children become more informed, responsible and confident digital citizens.
