Our Year 2 children have been busy botanists as they begin to explore the fascinating world of plants. As part of their learning, they are discovering what plants need to grow and stay healthy, from sunlight and water to soil and care. The highlight of the topic so far is planting their very own sunflowers! The children carefully planted seeds, watered them, and are now excitedly watching for signs of growth. We can’t wait to see how tall their sunflowers grow and to continue nurturing them over the coming weeks. 🌻🌱
