As part of our Personal Development Enrichment Programme, our Year 6 pupils attended a residential visit to Borrowdale in the Lake District from 17th to 19th June 2026. Throughout the experience, they embraced every challenge presented to them and demonstrated remarkable courage in stepping outside their comfort zones by trying new and unfamiliar activities.

We are incredibly proud of their determination, enthusiasm, and engagement. Their behaviour was exemplary, and they interacted positively with the fantastic Live4Adventure team, who ensured the experience was both enjoyable and enriching.

It was a pleasure to observe how effectively the children worked together, demonstrating teamwork and mutual support during activities such as orienteering, canoeing challenges, rock climbing, and ghyll scrambling. They showed trust, resilience, and encouragement towards one another, which was truly inspiring.

This residential provided a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to shine, embrace challenges, and develop a strong sense of pride in their achievements.
