As part of our learning about the Creation Story from Genesis, the Year 2 children listened carefully to the story and thought about the wonderful world God created. While listening, they drew pictures to show the images that came to mind.

The children then worked together around a large sheet of paper, drawing the parts of God’s creation that bring them the most joy. As they moved around the paper, they explored and added different ideas inspired by each other’s drawings, including animals, plants, oceans, the sky, and people. By the end of the activity, the paper was filled with colourful images celebrating the beauty and diversity of God’s world. The children reflected on how creation is a precious treasure and discussed ways we can care for it. #livelovelean 🙏🏼
