Advent begins (1.12.25)

A post in our latest news section.

We are now fully embracing the season of Advent, and it’s been wonderful to see the joy and excitement across our school. At the beginning of this week, Year 5 led a beautiful whole-school assembly to mark the first week of Advent. They helped us reflect on hope and reminded us what this time of year is truly about, kindness, community, and looking forward with joy.

Our children have also been busy spreading that kindness beyond our school. Christmas cards made by our pupils are on their way to residents in local care homes, bringing a little festive cheer to those who may be spending Christmas alone. Alongside this, our Reverse Advent Calendar is well underway, with donations coming in to support our local food bank. Thank you so much for your generosity, it really does make a difference.

Looking ahead, we are all very excited about our Christmas productions next week! The children have been rehearsing with such enthusiasm and can’t wait to share their talents with you. These performances are always a highlight of the year, and we know you’ll be as proud of them as we are.
