Celebrating Pope Leo’s papacy in assembly

Today’s assembly focused on finding out about our new pope, Pope Leo XIV. The children were very impressed with his ability to speak 5 different languages. We talked about his missionary work in Peru and his focus on the poor and marginalised around the world.
