Lent lasts for 40 days, echoing the period of time Jesus spent in the desert. It is a time of preparation for the greatest feast in the Church year: Easter.

Year 2 led us beautifully this morning in our first Lenten Celebration of the Word, focusing on when Jesus was sent by the Holy Spirit into the desert. They read clearly and sang and signed with confidence. Thank you to the many Year 2 parents who joined us for our time of prayer and reflection.
