This week we have been so busy exploring Chinese New Year. We have looked at the story of the Jade Emperor and the animal race. We have discovered that each year is named after an animal and that this year is the year of the snake. The children have explored different craft activities such as making lanterns, creating snake decorations and writing Chinese symbols for numbers.
