Stay, Pray and Play

A post in our latest news section.

Our Reception children and their parents enjoyed a special Stay, Pray and Play morning as we journey together through the season of Lent. Families took part in a variety of simple, meaningful activities designed to help our youngest pupils participate and engage.

Children created a beautiful prayer chains and worked together to decorate a cross. There were also wonderful opportunities to share relevant storybooks for Lent helping the children explore some of the Easter story as well as St Joseph.

It was a joyful, peaceful morning filled with creativity. Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make it such a special moment in our Lenten journey.

Here are some comments from our parents:

‘Seeing them happy and comfortable in the school environment’

‘It was lovely spending time with them in school and doing some activities together’

‘I loved being able to interact and complete activities with my son within school. He was so excited and it was lovely to see him with his friends.’
